just few days back there was an episode on T V show "Har har mahavdev" where lord shiva demolished the ego of demon jalandhar who captivated "Sati". the extreme step of lord shiva was taken because of the
well this reference i m giving here in context of the devastation in uttarakhand . there was a similar news in media about removal of a statue of forest goddess which was believed to be the statue of godess parvati herself. the deadly destruction started only hours after that. some of you mightn't be agree with me but that cant change my faith.
now lets see some scientific reasons : on the name of so called modern development there is very rapid deforestation of this Devbhumi, mining is taking place on larger scale, pollution of holy rivers are on all time high, construction of ill planned buildings on the sloops of mountains which make them more vulnerable, roads which are made by cutting mountains, hotels meant for leisure activities and the over crowding is making the ecosystem of the area very fragile.building of dams on rivers prevent there natural flow.
alas we the so called most intelligent creature of nature is going against nature. we are doing every possible thing to disturbe the harmony of nature.
the valley is known as devbhumi as it provides the peace and inner calm with its natural scenic beauty through the mountains, rivers, trees, plants and so on.these places used to provide metaphysical healer energy.but as the time pass we started intervenig in natures matter we started running against natural forces.
the purpose of going into this matter is that we should understand and respect the nature, our policymakers, responsible agencies, so called intellectuals, educationist, environmentalist and we the people will have to understand that everything is not for money, power and greed. we cant entertain the similar model of development everywhere and change the basic nature of that place
If we keep ignoring these facts then will have to be ready to face more conequences. remember nature will always keep reminding us about its power which is beyond our limit.
